Facility Rating Change Assurance

A conductor study says the line can carry more. The rating belongs to the complete facility: every series element, every clearance, every record that will repeat the number. This verifies all of it before approval.

  • CodesThe planning model, operations model, and final engineering approval have not caught up with the proposed rating.

The conductor passed. The complete line did not. Promising the capacity anyway is how rating incidents start.

Grid Clearance Assessment

Ask what clearance applies at a crossing and get the clause, not an opinion. When three authorities disagree, it stops.
